Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hot Take Huddle, operated by Marvel Apps ("we," "us"). By using the app, you agree to them.

The service

Hot Take Huddle connects to your fantasy football league (currently ESPN or Sleeper, with Yahoo coming soon) and generates a weekly, AI-narrated podcast recapping your league's standings, trades, and matchups, hosted by Jake Cole and Mack Donovan.

Not affiliated with your league provider or the NFL

Hot Take Huddle is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ESPN, Sleeper, Yahoo, or the NFL. Your league's data belongs to your league; we only read it to build your episodes.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account. Typically one person — your league's commissioner — connects the league directly; everyone else joins using the Hot Take Passcode that person shares, without needing their own ESPN or Sleeper login. Don't share your passcode outside your league, and don't try to access a league you weren't given access to.

Purchases

A season pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks a specific league's season — it does not automatically renew. Pricing is shown at the time of purchase and billed through the App Store or Google Play. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, not directly by us — see our Support page for links to each.

Content you submit

Hot takes, predictions, board statements, hot-seat nominations, and anything else you send us — including through the iMessage extension — may be read aloud, referenced, or otherwise used in the show. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share, or anything abusive, harassing, or illegal.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access a league you don't have permission to join.
• Circumvent, share, or abuse the passcode system to get around purchase requirements.
• Interfere with or disrupt Hot Take Huddle's operation, or attempt to reverse-engineer parts of the service that aren't public.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms. You can stop using Hot Take Huddle, and permanently delete your account and data, at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Hot Take Huddle is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We generate episodes automatically from your league's data and from content you submit, and we don't guarantee they'll be free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Hot Take Huddle after a change means you accept the updated terms.
